It was April, 2003 and we were hiking out of Grand Canyon on the fourth day of a five day trip. It snowed our first night and rained the second day but the rest of the time we had beautiful days like this day. We had stopped to rest just a few miles from Indian Garden where we were planning to spend the final night. While waiting for a mule train to pass I set up the camera and took this photo. I think it’s my favorite.
